Monday
Today was my first day at the Code Secrets all girls Summer Camp. I really enjoyed it. At first, I thought I wouldn't be interested in the whole coding thing, but now that I know that it's more than that, I really think it's worth while. All in all, it was our fun day so we just started out with the basics. We explored with Code.org, made curcuits and spoke with Jocob who was a former student at High Technology High School. He now goes to Carnegea Melon College in Pittsburg. He talked to us about his project called Biometric Keystride Algorithms. He was very impressive!
Tuesday
Today was my second day at the Code Secrets all girls Summer Camp. The first thing that we did was our Googly eyes activity that we started the previous day. My team won! Next we were introduced to a Windows program called Raptor. It uses tools for coding such as input, output, and assignment.The last thing that we did was work on some Arduinos. We experimented with them and we learned new stuff.
Wednesday
Today was my third day at the Code Secrets all girls Summer Camp. The first thing we did was the Bird Sing Hero game... it was pretty fun. We did this because later we would be skyping Jessica who instead of studies bird's calls, but studies whale's calls. She talked to us about her studies of whales and how she does her everyday work.
